Why Train With Me?
Practical Experience
I compete in triathlons at a high level, which means I understand training, recovery, and nutrition inside out. More importantly, I've made plenty of mistakes along the way in my 15+ years of training - overtraining, underfuelling, getting injured - so I know how to help you avoid them.

FAQ - Personal Training Hackney
Where do you train clients?
At hmpt studio in Hackney Downs (a 10 minute walk from Hackney Central Station) or at your home throughout the E8 or N16 area. We can also do outdoor sessions in Clissold Park or Abney Park.
What's the hmpt studio like?
It's a semi-private fitness studio - smaller and more welcoming than big chain gyms. You'll have access to all the equipment needed for effective strength training without feeling overwhelmed or intimidated. It's a small and welcoming environment with an all-female team of personal trainers.
Do you offer at-home training?
Yes, I bring the equipment needed. As you progress and get stronger, I recommend that you purchase your own dumbbells. It's ideal if you're time-poor, have childcare commitments, or just prefer training at home.
How much does it cost?
Get in touch for a free consultation and I'll share my rates and packages. No pressure, just a chat about what might work for you.
I've never worked with a PT before - is that okay?
Absolutely. Many of my Hackney clients are complete beginners. We'll start wherever you are and progress at your pace.
Can you help me train for a race?
Yes. I work with runners and triathletes preparing for everything from 5km to Ironman distance. I'll create a structured, personalised plan that balances training with recovery, and be there to support every step of the way. Find out more about coaching packages.
Do you only train athletes?
Not at all. I work with people of all fitness levels - from complete beginners to experienced athletes. Whatever your goal, I can help.

Hackney (E8) Stoke Newington (N16) and surrounding areas: Newington Green, Stamford Hill, Clissold Park, Shacklewell, Dalston.
How often should I train?
You will see great results with just 1-2 sessions per week. We'll figure out what makes sense for your goals and schedule during your free consultation.

We'll assess your movement, strength, and fitness level, discuss your goals properly, and do some training so you get a feel for how I coach. You'll leave with a clear plan.
